AI Tools Guide for Small Business: Optional Extras

The course runs on just a few core tools. Everything else on this page is optional, sorted by the job it does, so you only add a tool when you really need it.

Affiliate disclosure: Some links on this page may be affiliate links. If you buy through them, AI for Business Course may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes what we teach: the course itself only needs the core tools below.

The Core Tools Used in the Course

  • ChatGPT Team or Claude Projects: an AI assistant you chat with in plain English. Your team shares it for drafts and saved instructions.
  • Make or Zapier: apps that pass information between your web forms, inbox, calendar and customer software, so you don’t copy and paste.

The ready-made templates are built for these tools; you connect them to your own accounts. Check each company’s current pricing page before you sign up.

Optional Tools by Job to Be Done

Call tracking: CallRail

Useful if you want to know which ads or listings make your phone ring (Step 2).

AI voice: ElevenLabs

AI voice generation for greetings or training audio. Check consent and calling rules before using AI voices in calls you make to customers.

Customer software: HubSpot

One option for keeping track of leads and sending follow-up messages in Step 3; the templates also work with the customer software you already use.

Marketing copy: Jasper

An AI writing tool for teams that write lots of marketing. Most owners can start with the core tools instead.

Managed WordPress hosting: Rocket.net, WPX

Goes with the bonus website checklist if your site is slow or your current host is holding you back.
